So Wylie (Haley Shaw) is a music producer, composer, and sound designer based in New York.
So Wylie writes and produces music for recording artists, film and tv, podcasts, and brands. She’s converted a background in experimental chamber music and a conservatory degree in music composition into a current ear for writing and producing with a wide scope. She records and edits her own sample libraries to create warm, gritty sonic textures that border between an electronic and acoustic feel.
She produces and writes songs and remixes for artists (Camille Trust, MASUMI, Olivia Reid, Lorelei Marcell, Amanda Brown, FLAVIA), and writes music for film and video (recently Casey Neistat). She has been placed on the cover of the Spotify Created By Women playlist and was a featured producer on Andrew Huang’s 4 Producers series. Her music has been placed in ad campaigns and for brands including Schick, Clairol, Macy’s, Spotify, Reebok, The Cut, The Wall Street Journal, and Showtime and synced in Netflix original series Too Hot To Handle and High Heat. She writes bespoke commercial music for music and sync houses including Found Objects, Elias of UMG, Yessian, and West One Music.
She has sound designed, mixed, and written original music for podcast series including Spotify’s Archetypes with Meghan Markle, Dissect, Heavyweight, StartUp, The Habitat, and Mogul.
